See, Twitter can be a source of good news! I am currently under advance contract at the University of California Press for their upcoming Feminist Media book series.
My book manuscript, You Just Type: Women Television Writers in 1950s America, centers on the contributions and distinct authorial pressures under which women TV writers labored in the first ten years of commercial television. Most recently, I have published an entry on Megan Ellison for Hollywood Heroines: The Most Influential Women in Film History and have an article on women story editors in 1950s TV coming out in the November 2019 issue of Camera Obscura: Feminism, Culture, and Media Studies.
Do consult my academia.edu page for more of my articles, essays, programming notes on topics ranging including — but not restricted to — postwar film and television, documentary media, and silent film acting.
